This mind is truly dangerous.
If there is no awareness or mindfulness, we will follow it and end up doing all sorts of things.
So guard this mind well. When we are aware of what we are doing in this moment, it makes everything better...

我們很喜歡聽開示,做好事、功德,但其實最重要是修行(禪修)
為什麼我們選擇做好事、做功德呢?因為我們喜歡
禪修是一件很難的事情,沒人想去做。但如果你只是聽、做功德,那都不及禪修重要
因為無論你聽了那麼多次,就算是佛陀時代你都可能已經在聽,但只有聽,沒有做
就好像母親叫你走路,但你不走
We really enjoy listening to Dhamma talks and doing good deeds or making merit, but actually the most important thing is practice (meditation).
Why do we choose to do good deeds and make merit? Because we like it.
Meditation is something difficult, and no one wants to do it. But if you only listen and make merit, it is not as important as meditation.
Because no matter how many times you’ve listened—even if you were already listening during the time of the Buddha—if you only listen and don’t practice,
it’s like a mother telling you to walk, but you don’t walk.

當你修完止禪、出定後,你觀察你的身體。
身體哪個部份痛,你就看著它,把身體和心分開,也把痛處和身體拉開
我們還未修到這個情況的話,我們的身體和心是黏在一起的
After you finish practicing samatha (stillness meditation) and emerge from absorption, you observe your body.
Wherever there is pain in the body, you observe it, separating the body from the mind, and also seprate the pain away from the body.
If we have not yet reached this level of practice, our body and mind are still stuck together.
