“Knowing and seeing the truth” is inspired by the Pali term yathābhūtañāṇadassana.
When a person possesses precepts (sīla), the mind becomes easy to settle and concentrate. Such a mind is able to know and see the true nature of all things as they really are—namely, that they are all impermanent (anicca), not-self (anattā), and unsatisfactory (dukkha). One who sees in this way becomes disillusioned with the entire world, relinquishes attachment, and ultimately is liberated from all suffering.
“Knowing and seeing the truth” aims to spread happiness to everyone, because the Buddha’s teachings themselves are teachings on the liberation from suffering and the attainment of happiness.
